Performap installation is quick and easy and can be done by the customer in no time!

The process takes 10 -15 minutes and requires no technical assistance: installation can be carried out in total autonomy, simply by following the instructions and video tutorial received with the chip tuning box. In the same way, it can be uninstalled in a few minutes, returning the car to its original configuration.
- Open the engine bonnet
- Remove the engine protection cover
- Locate (using the manual) the sensor connectors and connect Performap
- Replace the cover and close the bonnet

INSTALLATION
Specific manual
Each Performap is supplied with a detailed installation manual. No knowledge of vehicular or mechanical terms is required. Identifying the correct connectors to which to connect Performap and proceeding with the installation takes 10 -15 minutes at most in 90% of cases.
Telephone assistance
Our qualified technicians are always at your disposal, either by telephone on the number indicated during working hours, or by email or WhatsApp. Despite the detailed manual and accompanying videos, for any doubt or request, you can contact us via the method that you prefer to receive prompt assistance.
Reversible operation
If your car is under guarantee, uninstall the control unit before undergoing an official service, this will take a few minutes and the car will be reported to be in its original condition. No trace will remain within the ECU. Ditto on the sale of your car, to be able to reuse Performap.
Future reuse
If you change cars, simply uninstall Performap and then contact us. We will be happy to reprogramme it for your new model, and replace the wiring if you have changed manufacturer (for example, BMW and Alfa use different connectors). In this way, your investment is long-lasting.

Automotive wiring
The Performap automotive wiring interface has various engine sensors and meets the same standards as the manufacturers. The wires are grade T4 with self-extinguishing corrugated coating. The junction between the connectors and wiring is protected by waterproof caps, therefore, there are no bare wire ends.
