Fuel consumption depends mainly on two factors: on one hand, engine displacement plays an important role, on the other, it affects the engine rpm. Thanks to the greater torque delivered by Performap, the engine will acquire excellent gear elasticity, and you can travel with one or even two gear ratios more than the original configuration (in the case of an automatic transmission, the original control unit will automatically switch to the higher gear). Travelling on average at a lower rpm, with medium-high gears, you can achieve an efficient fuel consumption. Performap lets just do this: lower engine rpm by using one or two more gear ratios significantly reducing fuel consumption.

Increased efficiency
The microprocessor intercepts and optimises different parameters. Therefore, the nebulisation of the fuel in the combustion chamber is more widespread.The same amount of fuel is injected (or even less) than before, but in finer droplets. All fuel injected is burnt, and unburned fuel particles decrease.
Greater elasticity
The increased torque and power secured by Performap, significantly increase the elasticity of the engine. You can therefore always use one or even two more gear ratios, thanks to the extraordinary elasticity acquired. Recommendations
To further optimise the reduction of fuel, avoid overloading your car (increase in rolling resistance). Approaching a red traffic light or in a traffic jam decelerate in good time maintaining the ratio entered. Remove roof racks when not needed (increased aerodynamic resistance).
